OSHA is charging every hotel, restaurant, resort and island
with the legal responsibility for the following:
- To implement HAZCOM 2012-2013 new Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Chemical Classification and Labeling
- To implement written safety programs that have teeth, are comprehensive, up-to-date and not canned
- To provide all employees a customized written Injury & Illness Prevention Program (now nicknamed I2P2)
- To provide “effective” safety training - the “Employee Right-to-Know” has been replaced with ”Employee Right-to-Understand”
